This paper analyzes the impact of the expansion of labor rights for domestic workers provided for in Supplementary Law n.150/2015 on salary/hour, working day, formalization and contribution to social security. Based on data from the Employment and Unemployment Survey - PED for the years 2014 and 2016 for the Metropolitan Region of Fortaleza, the Differences-in-Differences method was applied in combination with the Propensity Score Matching - PSM). The diarists were defined as a control group, since they are helpless by the legislation due to the definition of domestic maid proposed by Complementary Law n.150. The results showed that there was no effect for the wage/hour and hours worked variables. On the other hand, it is suggested a positive impact of the implementation of Supplementary Law n.150 on the chances of the domestic worker contributing to social security, as well as having a signed work permit.Downloads
