EXISTE DISCRIMINAÇÃO SALARIAL NO MERCADO DE TRABALHO DOS ADVOGADOS NO BRASIL? EVIDÊNCIAS ADICIONAIS.
Abstract
O objetivo deste trabalho é testar a hipótese de discriminação salarial para o mercado de advogados no Brasil. Verificamos (i) se existe discriminação de gênero, (ii) se existe discriminação de raça e (iii) se existe discriminação de gênero considerando a distribuição de renda dos advogados brasileiros. Utilizamos os dados trimestrais da PNAD-C de 2012 a 2017, e os métodos de Oaxaca-Blinder, Oaxaca-Ransom e o método de Regressões Quantílicas de Firpo, Fortin e Lemieux. Os resultados mostram que há discriminação de gênero, raça e entre quantis de renda para o mercado de trabalho dos advogados brasileiros. Um achado importante está em perceber um aumento da discriminação salarial contra mulheres advogadas conforme aumenta a renda. O artigo ainda testa a robustez dos resultados utilizando a PNAD entre 2002 e 2015.
