On some occasions, the construction of the legal system by the traditional model has not offered an effective legal solution to social conflicts, for failing to consider real aspects of social life, which interfere in the process of individual choices. The article aims to discuss the way in which the transaction costs interferes with the resolution of conflicts to the Theory of Social Cost of Ronald Coase, and the contribution of the economy to build an efficient system, with a focus on relationships business and economic development tool. Focuses on demonstrating that the role of law is to encourage behaviors of cooperation can reduce transaction costs and enable a more efficient solution and must, therefore, create strong institutions that offer the certainty of compliance and create a reliable scenario necessary for the efficient development of business relations. Is adopted the method of literature, using national and foreign scientific literature.
