APROVAÇÃO DA RECUPERAÇÃO JUDICIAL E PORTE EMPRESARIAL: UMA ANÁLISE EMPÍRICA DO CASO BRASILEIRO PARA O PERÍODO DE 2006 A 2017

O presente artigo foi desenvolvido para responder à seguinte questão: para o caso brasileiro, porte empresarial e conjuntura macroeconômica impactam na probabilidade de aprovação das recuperações judiciais? Para tanto, um modelo logístico foi estimado com base nos dados recuperações judiciais ocorridas no Brasil entre janeiro de 2006 a junho 2017. Os resultados obtidos pela pesquisa demonstram que porte empresarial e conjuntura macroeconômica possuem relevância no contexto das recuperações judiciais, pois influenciam o processo decisório quando da votação dos planos de recuperação judicial.
