Abstract

The objective of this research was to analyze the contractual relationships in the sugarcane industry in Paraná State, focusing on a typical case of a production unit (called Company X), serving as a model for the application of theoretical and methodological arrangement of the New Institutional Economics (NIE) and Factor Analysis Correspondence (FAC). The results showed that Company X selects an optimal organizational arrangement, however, in Dimension 2 contracts with the biggest Inertias are poorly correlated with the frequency attribute, no longer regarded as a priority the trust among the parties involved in bargaining.
