CREOLIZATION AND CINEMA: RENEWING IMAGINARY

Abstract

The visual experimental essay presented here is a fragment of a larger body of work developed in a doctoral context. By relating frames from the film 'Limite', by Mário Peixoto, we propose a co-creation of meaning through collage and imagery association with a view to producing new images, new visual narratives and, why not, a new imaginary of the film. If on the one hand it reproduces the original material of the film, since it is from the same source, on the other hand it is transformed.
