Abstract

This visual essay is the result of experiments based on investigations into the uses of the intimate diary in the visual arts, whether as a means of expression, artistic operation, or poetic resource. We seek, through creative work, to expand notions and practices of the diary since the ways of narrating a life influence life itself, giving it meanings that go beyond mere representation and expanding the auto/biographical space, as Leonor Arfuch (2010) teaches us.
