Abstract

Abstract

The article analyses the short film “História de Ceilândia contada por pioneiros”, by Gu da Cei, in order to characterize it as a film essay, explaining the peripherical subjectivity that elaborates a thought about the official history of Brasília, and the to seek an understanding of how a non-subalternized reading of a archive makes the subjectivities of the pioneers emerge. The dialogue between the two subalternized subjectivities present in the film produces a process of political subjectivation.

    Camilla Shinoda é doutoranda no PPG Meios e Processos Audiovisuais na ECA/USP. É mestre pelo PPG da FAC/ UnB linha Imagem, Som e Escrita. É bacharel em Comunicação Social, habilitações Publicidade e Propaganda e Jornalismo, pela Universidade de Brasília.

    Allex Medrado, PhD in Arts from the University of Brasília (UnB), is a Brazilian short filmmaker, professor of Cinema and Digital Media, with a master's degree in Visual Culture from UFG (Federal University of Goias / Brazil), a degree in Technology in Audiovisual Production. Member and founder of Associação Cultural Intermedia Caliandra, a group of filmmakers from Brasília / Brazil. He is currently a professor at the Federal Institute of Brasília (IFB) in audio and video courses. He develops research in the area of ​​Image, visualities and urbanities, Image culture and mediation processes.
