Abstract

The research observes the theme of AI creativity as narrative strategies in the Pluto series (2023). Theories about technophobia, machine learning and the relationship between serial fiction and discourses on AI come together here. Using Critical Narrative Analysis, interpretations were obtained as results that contest the creative autonomy of AIs; reinforce the human role in the creative production of these machines; and focus on the problem-solving usefulness of AI in contrast to its creativity.
