The context of education for the 21st century: some philosophical-pedagogical contributions

In order to examine the horizon of an education in the context of the technological society of the 21st century based on the contributions that philosophy can offer to this educational action, in this paper we propose a discussion divided into three sections. In the first section, we begin with the presentation of the relationship between philosophy and education. Next, we draw a brief overview of the relationship between philosophy teaching and citizenship. In the second section we present a philosophical understanding of the relationship between education and technology. Having made this overview, in the third section we end with the philosophical contributions to citizenship education in the context of the technological society of the 21st century.
