O jornalismo e a legitimação da informação científica

A atuação jornalística nos processos sociais propicia a legitimação da informação científica. A academia integra os processos que afetam a vida social e humana, promovendo diálogos com múltiplos atores sociais. É um movimento científico em direção à sociedade para reforçar o apoio ao próprio meio de pesquisa e fomentar a educação científica. O jornalismo, que constrói narrativas e interpreta realidades, é estratégico para as políticas de determinados campos e saberes. Nesse contexto, o conhecimento do cidadão leigo adquire mais legitimidade também no processo de construção da ciência, cada vez mais entendida como sociociência.
