A MULHER NA MÍDIA: UMA REFLEXÃO SOBRE AS CONSTRUÇÕES DISCURSIVAS EM TORNO DA MULHER ESPORTISTA NO PORTAL DA REVISTA GLAMOUR

No presente artigo abordamos a construção discursiva em torno da figura da mulher esportista operada pelo portal da Revista Glamour. Delimitamos como corpus de análise três matérias veiculadas no ano corrente (2019), a saber: (i) Como o esporte mudou a vida de quatro mulheres?; (ii) Paolla Oliveira fala sobre pressão para ter corpo perfeito: ‘Sofri bastante’; e (iii) Triatlo: saiba tudo sobre o esporte que virou mania fitness. Objetivamos, com isso, problematizar as normatividades-imposições/silenciamentos de modos de ser/agir - que engendram determinados estilos de vida para refletirmos acerca das (in)visibilidades produzidas pelos meios de comunicação hegemônicos no que tange à figura de mulher esportista. Para tanto, o presente artigo propõe como eixo metodológico a Análise Crítica do Discurso a partir de Fairclough (2016). Localizamos que muito embora o discurso para a promoção da prática esportiva possa ter pontos positivos, não há por parte da articulação midiática uma ampliação significativa que contribua para a visibilidade da mulher esportista. As reportagens atrelam superficialidade ao articularem autonomia e empoderamento, omitindo as reais implicações de uma inserção do esporte na rotina das mulheres, aproximando-se em grande medida ao discurso publicitário com promessas, incitações ao consumo e convocações para a beleza.
