De Frei Henrique de Coimbra para Dom Moro de Curitiba: análise do discurso da capa do mês de maio de 2017 da Piauí

Na capa da revista piauí referente ao mês de maio de 2017 há uma releitura da pintura de Victor Meirelles de Lima,realizada entre os anos de 1858 e 1860, intitulada Primeira Missa no Brasil. O quadro foi composto a partir da descrição que Pero Vaz de Caminha realizou em Carta a El-Rei D. Manuel, documento que rememora a chegada dos portugueses ao Brasil. Partindo desse pressuposto, este trabalho realiza uma análise do seu discurso, discutindo a intertextualidade com Fiorin (2008), a memória discursiva com Pêcheux (2010), os sentidos literais e implícitos com Lebler (2016), além de cultura e identidade nacional com Hall (2006) e Chauí (2000).
