Abstract

A partir da análise de O Doutrinador (2018), o artigo explora como a crítica à corrupção no Brasil, após os protestos de junho de 2013, foi instrumentalizada de modo a promover a figura do macho neoautoritário. Articulando a popularidade das narrativas de super-heróis ao movimento sociopolítico que culminou na eleição de Jair Bolsonaro, o filme reencena o mito da violência sacrificial e se apropria de uma retórica revolucionária para dissimular um discurso nacionalista antiestatal e autoritário.
