The object of study in this research is the personal profile on the digital social network Instagram of the 16 state deputies elected for the first time to compose the Legislative Assembly of Paraná (ALEP) for the term 2023-2027. The objective of the article is to analyze the personalism of these deputies on the Instagram, as well as their use of Instagram. The chosen methodology for the analysis was quantitative content analysis. The method was applied to a corpus of 342 posts. This corpus is a sample of all the posts made by the deputies during the first 100 days of the legislature. The sample has a confidence level of 95% and a margin of error of 5%. In general, the results revealed a degree of personalism in the use of Instagram. The deputies tried to distance themselves from their respective parties, but without presenting aspects of their private lives, thus maintaining a degree of institutionalism.
