Mito da democracia racial: a relação entre imaginário e a aceitação das cotas raciais como política pública no Brasil, a partir da análise de posts no site da UOL

O mito da democracia racial ainda permanece no imaginário brasileiro e este pensamento impede políticas de ação afirmativa no Brasil. O sistema de cotas raciais adotado pela Universidade de Brasília é um exemplo. O Partido Democratas encaminhou ação ao Supremo Tribunal Federal para julgar a legitimidade das cotas, a qual foi considerada constitucional no dia 26 de abril de 2012. Porém, a decisão do STF não agradou a maioria dos brasileiros. Este artigo analisa 54 posts no site UOL com as opiniões das pessoas, abaixo da reportagem principal sobre a votação da legalidade das cotas raciais, para fundamentar os motivos da opinião pública ser contrária ao sistema de cotas.
