This article aims to discuss the different forms of communication and their influences from the perspective of Public Relations teaching. To this end, it presents and discusses the modalities of face-to-face communication and digital communication, using bibliographic research as methodology. For Public Relations, it is imperative to combine digital communication with oral and face to face, as they are part of the current framework of integrated communication, which represents a great challenge for the area - because the digital scenario is part of integrated communication, but it has not diminished the potential of human communication. It is by assimilating these contents in higher education in the area that competences and skills can be improved.
