Jornalismo Ambiental- Análise dos critérios de noticiabilidade na web

Abstract

A partir da aplicação das técnicas de análise de conteúdo, este trabalho realiza um estudo comparativo entre dois
tipos de veículos virtuais de comunicação, um generalista e outro especializado, buscando identificar a abordagem da
temática ambiental por meio dos critérios de noticiabilidade, criados por Galtung e Ruge (1965), das categorias de análise em
jornalismo ambiental e dos recursos jornalísticos da web definidos pelas autoras. Dentre outras considerações, mostramos
que falta aos veículos virtuais uma melhor utilização das novas ferramentas para colaborar com o caráter multidisciplinar
da temática ambiental, do ponto de vista técnico, e com a adoção de uma postura menos conservadora e mais voltada à
responsabilidade social.
