UOL CHAT: rotinas empíricas e significações1

Recursos de comunicação disponibilizados pela internet têm sido utilizados metodologicamente em estudos que visam descobrir e descrever as dinâmicas comunicacionais nesse meio. A discussão empírica, entretanto, pouco ocorre. Este artigo visa, portanto, descrever aspectos do uso metodológico do chat UOL, bem como refletir criticamente sobre eles, a partir de pesquisa realizada durante o curso de mestrado. Por meio do chat, foi possível encontrar pessoas e realizar entrevistas on-line. Além disso, procura-se relacionar as dinâmicas proporcionadas entre os interagentes desse ambiente multiusuário on-line com os conceitos de espaço, lugar e território.Downloads
