A dinâmica das notícias sobre a temática racial negra no jornal Folha de S. Paulo

Abstract

Neste artigo, abordo a cobertura da temática racial negra no noticiário da Folha de S. Paulo, com destaque para três acontecimentos históricos: centenário da abolição da escravatura, Marcha Zumbi dos Palmares e Conferência de Durban. Do racismo cordial, propagado pela Folha de S. Paulo na primeira pesquisa de opinião pública, realizada em 1995, o jornal avança para o racismo confrontado, em 2008, conforme especial daquele ano. Contudo, faz-se uma revisão do conceito de notícia, noticiabilidade e critérios de noticiabilidade, a fim de refletir sobre o enquadramento noticioso da temática racial negra no periódico.
