As representações sociais do feminino: um olhar sobre a boneca barbie

Abstract

 

Este artigo propõe uma reflexão acerca da boneca Barbie, sob a luz da teoria das Representações Sociais. Pretende-se analisar a boneca no que concerne ao padrão de beleza feminino que a Barbie traz consigo e como esse padrão de beleza é representado em outros países, em outras culturas.  Para tanto, foram analisados alguns modelos de bonecas Barbie que representam as etnias de vários países e se esses modelos são atrelados à identidade feminina.
