Abstract

No período de férias escolares (janeiro e julho), o Ministério da Defesa promove o Projeto Rondon – uma experiência extensionista que leva universitários de todo o país a comunidades com baixos índices de desenvolvimento humano para promover ações de capacitação que visem o desenvolvimento local sustentável. A Universidade Católica de Brasília (UCB) realizou a cobertura jornalística dessas ações em julho de 2012 e janeiro de 2013. Participaram 32 estudantes de Comunicação Social e sete professores. Além de resultar em uma produção multimídia (com reportagens para rádio, TV, web; fotografia; dcocumentarios e ações nas redes sociais), a cobertura foi a possibilidade de um encontro com um Brasil até então desconhecido por muitos.
