Abstract

Os homens se tornaram produtores de discursos sobre linguagem e comunicação, todos assentados sobre uma premissa que hoje predomina: a premissa da língua como sistema de signos e de representação. Discutimos aqui teoricamente linguagem e comunicação como saberes dizentes e poéticos que não apenas representam, mas também apresentam. À luz da poesia, da filosofia e numa perspectiva dialógica que visa acrescentar ao pensamento científico saussuriano, mostramos que a língua pode ser um acontecimento comunicacional no sentido total: um fenômeno de apresentação e representação, ao mesmo tempo, sígnico e poético.
