Este artigo busca inserções do conceito de arquétipo, da Psicologia Analítica, na construção de anúncios e marcasintegrantes da narrativa publicitária. O estudo foi realizado por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica e análise do comercial
Video conferencing from Sony. Inicialmente, são definidas as estruturas que constituem o arquétipo: o imaginário,
os símbolos e as imagens coletivas. Em seguida, mostra-se a presença dos arquétipos da mitologia clássica e suas
atualizações na publicidade e em outras narrativas contemporâneas. O cerne da reflexão é a comparação das estruturas narrativas na mitologia e nos anúncios, mostrando que as pessoas e as personagens têm um arquétipo predominante
em sua personalidade e que essa característica é amplamente utilizada na construção do posicionamento de marcas
e na venda de produtos.
