Compliance and integrity studies: a bibliometric analysis

Abstract

As a mechanism to fight corruption, compliance has been a strategy employed by companies in the most diverse spheres, while in the academic aspect, research on the subject has been developed from studies, notably arising from law. This research aims to broaden perspectives for the understanding of how the issue has been investigated in the field of applied social sciences, in its various aspects, employing for this bibliometrics. We used the PRISMA method (Moher et al, 2015) with adaptation of some criteria for analysis and selection of articles. The results indicated, the topic has received attention from researchers in the area of Administration, who are looking for strategies to materialize compliance programs in organizations. As for the authorship, it was found that the majority is published by more than one researcher, predominantly three authors. As for the origin of these research groups, most come from teaching institutions in the South region. In the studied sample, as a research focus, research with a qualitative method in the form of reviews predominates. How schedule of future studies, the articles point to the need to investigate the effectiveness of health programs in organizations and the need to develop ques-tionnaires and application of models of different organizations.
