Knowledge Management as a catalyst for innovation: a case study on the creation of a repository to stimulate research reuse

This article analyzed the creation of a knowledge repository in the innovation department of a Brazilian organization in the financial sector aiming to drive the innovation journey by encouraging the use of research on business trends and emerging technologies in the financial sector. Through qualitative and quantitative analysis, it was concluded that the portal has the potential to transform individual knowledge into organizational knowledge and catalyze innovation. The analysis highlighted that the repository can improve organizational efficiency by promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing but requires adjustments to maximize its impact and effectiveness in supporting continuous innovation. Recommended improvements include optimizing the user interface, better integration with existing systems, and increased encouragement of employee participation.
