Objective: To investigate the application of multicriteria methods, such as the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Multi-Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT), to optimize strategic decision-making in nanotechnology. The study leverages the "MCDA Extended Decision Support" software, registered with the INPI, to enhance precision and efficiency in decision-making within complex and uncertain environments. Methodology: Multicriteria methods AHP and MAUT were applied and integrated into a software platform designed for strategic sectors. Case studies were conducted in electronics companies, featuring quantitative and qualitative analyses of impacts on costs and productivity, along with simulations for applications in areas such as renewable energy and healthcare. Results: The software’s implementation led to a 15% reduction in operational costs and a 10% increase in productive efficiency for the evaluated companies. Additionally, it improved decision accuracy in selecting innovation strategies and demonstrated adaptability across different sectors. The tool proved to be flexible and scalable, supporting decisions based on multidimensional criteria. Practical/Managerial Implications: The software enhances precision and agility in the decision-making process, minimizing human errors while aligning with organizational and sustainability goals. It provides strategic support for managers in selec ting innovations and optimizing resources in highly competitive sectors. Social Implications: The tool enables more balanced decision-making by considering economic, social, and environmental factors. This fosters sustainable development, encouraging responsible innovation in sectors like renewable energy and healthcare, with direct benefits for so ciety and the environment.Downloads
