Petrobras S.A, estratégias, fragmentação e interesses: uma análise do período 2006-2018

Abstract

A Indústria de Petróleo e Gás Natural (IPGN) brasileira, após a promulgação da lei 12.351/2010, que imputava a Petrobras a participação mínima de 30% no consórcio formado para executar as atividades sob o regime de partilha da produção, vem passando por algumas mudanças no plano jurídico e de gestão estratégica de seu principal player, a Petrobras. O objetivo do artigo é, justamente, analisar o conteúdo de tais mudanças. Para atingir o objetivo proposto, identificou-se as referidas mudanças e se analisou a estrutura da IPGN mundial, a evolução dos indicadores econômico-financeiros da Petrobras no período 2006-2018 e a avaliação desta companhia pelas agências de ratings neste período. Concluiu-se que as referidas mudanças estão alinhadas com o modelo de governança baseado na perspectiva de Maximização de Valor para o Acionista (MVA), o que tem implicações importantes no que se refere a competitividade da Petrobras e a sua relevância para o desenvolvimento industrial brasileiro.
