Abstract

This article aims to analyze the conception of moral education and humanity reflected by Immanuel Kant in his masterpiece pedagogical Über Pädagogik, which was translated into French by Alexis Philonenko entitled Reflexions sur l'Éducation. The article is composed of two parts, the first of which seeks to analyze the Kantian view about man's need to be educated, since man is the only creature who needs education. The second seeks to reflect how Kant conceives of education and human moral perspective as a means to overcome the animalism of man that keeps a better coexistence with others in the social context.
