Resumo

The use of psychoactive drugs, as well as bodily practices may generate different emotions, positive or negative, which may contribute to the formation of the being. Thus, the search for new sensations awakens the desire by the new and the forbidden, especially in adolescence, which may lead the social actors to experience alcohol and other substances. The increased consumption of psychoactive drugs in urban centers becomes worrisome, allowing bodily practices to work focusing on prevention and recovery of dependent individuals. In this sense, this paper discusses the use of alcohol, drugs and bodily practices from emotional aspects. This discussion is built in two categories: first, Emotions and feelings from the user of alcohol and drugs, which discusses the issue of increasing use of drugs in urban centers and its emotional aspects, and the second, bodily practices, emotions and user of alcohol and drugs, and how these practices may influence whether or not the prevention of drug use and recovery of users. Analyze this scheme allows us to understand that the use of drugs and bodily practices are linked to social values, which leads to two analyzes: the relationship of bodily practices and alcohol and drugs throughout history, as representative element manipulated by propaganda, and its relation to health, education and social action. Thus it is clear that both drug use as bodily practices present social representations with different archetypes of behavior.
