The present study aimed to evaluate the responses of internal training load (ITL) obtained from the method rating of perceived exertion session (RPEsession) and the signs and symptoms of stress from the Daily Analysis of Life Demands in Athletes (DALDA) questionnaire. During four weeks of Rhythmic Gymnastics (RG) training, divided into periods of competition and no competition, eight RG gymnasts participated in the study, responding to the RPEsession thirty minutes after the end of each training session. The DALDA questionnaire, on the other hand, was applied at the end of each training week. The results showed that there were no significant differences between the four weeks of training monitoring in relation to the ITL responses and to the signs and symptoms. Therefore, it is suggested a possible relationship between ITL and DALDA, since no changes were observed in either the ITL or the sources and symptoms of stress over the monitored period.
