YOUTUBE E O ENSINO SUPERIOR: UMA ANÁLISE DA UTILIZAÇÃO NA USCS (UNIVERSIDADE DE SÃO CAETANO DO SUL).
Abstract
The research in question explores how the Municipal University of São Caetano do Sul (USCS) uses YouTube to promote innovative academic practices, especially in the context of Public Interest Communication. The aim is to analyze the institution's audiovisual production on YouTube, considering the frequency of publications, topics covered, formats used and the reach of the videos. The research, of an applied and qualitative nature, seeks to understand how USCS integrates YouTube into its academic practices, considering technological development and social structures. Documentary analysis will be used to examine media elements and production data shared on the official USCS channel. The study also intends to propose interventions to optimize the strategic use of YouTube, aiming for a real impact on communication practices and content dissemination. In addition, a videocast project will be proposed, “USCS Studio”, which will bring together the academic community in debates on current issues, demonstrating the importance of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) for education.
