Abstract

This paper deals with the teaching of Law and the Competency-based Curriculum. Specifically, its objective is to conduct a brief analysis of the National Curriculum Guidelines for Legal Education in the light of the Competency-based Curriculum. To this end, it describes, in general terms, what a Competency-based Curriculum consists of, seeking to emphasize what is really a competence, and then presents and discusses some items of the official document in which lie the National Curriculum Guidelines for Legal Education in light of the proposal of this curriculum.
