O efeito do background familiar sobre o desempenho dos estudantes do ensino superior

Este estudo tem como objetivo estudar o efeito do background familiar sobre o desempenho acadêmico dos estudantes do Ensino Superior. Utilizamos os microdados do Exame Nacional de Desempenho dos Estudantes (ENADE) e o modelo de Klein e Vella (2009), o qual controla os problemas de imultaneidade. Os resultados evidenciaram que o background familiar exerce grande influência no desempenho dos estudantes do Ensino Superior, em particular, a renda da família e a escolaridade do pai.
