UM ESTUDO SOBRE A CORRELAÇÃO POUPANÇAINVESTIMENTO NA ARGENTINA

Abstract

Este trabalho tem por objetivo medir o grau de abertura da Argentina aos capitais internacionais no período de 1993 I a 2000 II, utilizando a equação proposta por Feldstein-Horioka (1980), a qual tem por finalidade testar o grau de mobilidade de capitais. Os resultados indicaram alta mobilidade no curto prazo. Entretanto, no longo prazo, os investimentos domésticos da Argentina são dependentes da sua própria poupança, isto é, baixa mobilidade de capitais.
