Abstract

Our article intents a debate between the proximity of the media activism with the praxis of environmental journalism and seeks to understand how this is configured in the journalistic coverage, made by the media Amazônia Real, of the crisis in the Ministry of the Environment in Brazil. We used Content Analysis and applied the characterization with inferences that revealed accusatory approaches, with a strong political stance, which tried to broaden the issue, but with little follow-up to the case.
