Abstract

Presentation of the Communication and Biographical Studies dossier. In this dossier we seek a broad dialogue between the field of Communication and the current situation of biographical studies, in their theoretical, methodological, philosophical, anthropological, sociological, psychological, educational, political and media perspectives, from their procedural aspects and objectified products. The purpose of the dossier is to contribute to the state of the art in the biographical-communicational field.

Author Biography

Gustavo de Castro da Silva, Universidade de Brasília

Gustavo Castro Silva nasceu em Natal e vive em Brasília. É poeta, escritor e professor de Estética na Faculdade de Comunicação da Universidade de Brasília. Possui graduação em Comunicação Social/Jornalismo, pela UFRN (1990). Fez mestrado em Educação com ênfase em Teorias da Comunicação e da Informação, na UFRN (1997) e doutorado em Ciências Sociais pela PUC-SP (2002). Pesquisa a biografia de poetas e escritores.
