Abstract

Marginalia is an exercise in designing and interpreting the anatomy of a book. Over the last few years, German graphic designer Anja Lutz has dissected all textual, graphic elements, and margins of art publications associated with her. The dissecated layouts question the meaning of the book, at times of extreme virtualization and depletion of sense and content. The exhibition Marginalia toured in Europe and was published in book form in 2017.

É docente da graduação e pós-graduação em design gráfico da Faculdade de Artes Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule, em Halle, Alemanha e fundadora do projeto e ateliê de pesquisa e exposições interdisciplinares em design gráfico A-Z, com sede em Berlim.
