Uma análise da identidade indígena no enquadramento midiático da rapper Katumirim

Abstract

The objective of this article is to analyze the media framing of rapper Katumirim on social networks, based on the relational approach to communication (França, 2014, 2018). Indigenous existence has always been marked by colonialist and exploitative events, which have spanned the centuries, persist to this day and affect both original peoples and non-villaged or urbanized indigenous people. In a struggle always marked by wars, violence and murders, the indigenous artistic and cultural scene emerges on social networks and mobilizes meanings in different segments: in literature, cinema, music, visual arts and others. Especially in music, we chose to analyze Katumirim's Instagram profile, which uses the rapper's contesting style to mark his indigenous existence in contemporary times.
