Through the tensioning of evidence of Joelma's public appearance in the media, we aim to discuss regionalities and divatization as analytical categories that highlight the emergence of differences in the construction of the artistic phenomenon Joelma. A celebrity, such as Joelma, is a public figure whose actions have an impact on social relations and the construction of images. In this sense, regionalities can be a lens for reading such phenomena, not to highlight geographical dimensions, but as counterflows of difference.
